PNT Marine Electromagnetic Warfare Ground Family of Systems (MEGFoS) Dismounted Backpack (DB)

The United States Marines has a need for Modular Open Architecture systems in a lightweight backpack form factor that delivers effective Defensive Electromagnetic Attack (EA) capabilities, including Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electromagnetic Warfare (CREW) and Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) while providing spectrum awareness for indications and warnings. These prototypes must be capable of integrating third-party capabilities as required for use in austere environments and be effective against a range of threat types while remaining lightweight for ease of transport and use in operational configurations.

The lighter the systems are, the more effectively Marines can employ them in austere environments with minimal impact to their mission. Meeting the MEGFoS Dismounted Backpack (DB) Performance Specification will ensure access to the most advanced Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) capabilities in a timely and cost-effective manner, while enhancing their operational effectiveness and mission success.
