Shipboard Digital Voice Communications System

The Government is seeking a design and prototype of a modular and scalable mission critical shipboard Secure Voice Communications System (SVCS) providing both plain (Black) and secure (Red) communication capabilities.  The design must be suitable for use and operating on the Navy’s Surface Platforms, including AEGIS Cruisers (CG) and Destroyers (DDG).   In addition to providing an IP based modern system with IP interface, the SVCS should also interface with the shipboard legacy communication systems, such as Integrated Voice Communication Systems (IVCS), Tactical Variant Switch (TVS) and other legacy interfaces called out under paragraph 10.  Interfaces to the legacy communication systems may be accomplished and made available through modular design.
