PATRIOT Air and Missile Defense System Test and Integration

The PATRIOT system is a very low to very high altitude long range, all weather weapon system designed to successfully engage air breathing threats, tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, anti-radiation missiles, tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, and large caliber rockets.  

This prototype project addresses modernization efforts to identify, develop, test, and integrate prototypes and processes supporting modernization goals.  These modernization efforts and prototypes directly support the extended life cycle objectives and focus on constant improvement of overall mission capability rates. The overall prototype objective for this initiative addresses Communication Systems Integration issues.
