The Government has identified advanced Long Range Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) systems as priority for VADR and require threat training for 5th and 6th generation aircraft. Current technology needs to be upgraded in terms of power and radar pattern agility, polarization and radio frequency agility, Electronic Attack (EA) agility, software modifiability, and ability to operate as an integrated system both independently and within Live Virtual Construct (LVC) to meet fidelity goals for multiple systems from a single platform.
