Aviation Mission Common Server (AMCS)/Environment Exploitation System (EES) Modular Capabilities Demonstration

The Government is seeking a solution to a decentralized mission processing architecture and a system capable of distributed processing among multiple fully capable Mission Computer (MC) nodes with a high degree of fault tolerance and reliability as well as providing an Environment Exploitation System (EES) capability in Degraded Visual Environments (DVE).   

The requirement is to develop two prototypes for the next generation system to include a production representative AMCS; integrate the DVE hardware and software, helmet-mounted display, IDM functionality, and Government provided software applications on the AMCS prototype. This prototype effort will culminate with a demonstration of the EES capability on a Government provided and integrated HH-60M aircraft by 4QFY21. The prototyping goal is for the AMCS processor(s) to be production representative prototypes that conform to the Improved Data Modem 401 Size Weight and Power envelope (objective), implements cybersecurity mandates, and develops airworthiness documentation to achieve Design Assurance Level (DAL) C.
